For our youngest guests, we recommend two particularly family-friendly hikes: Spiegelsee Hike This leads over the mountain into the Gastein Valley. Along the way, there are numerous playgrounds and rest stops. Sensory Path Hike Slightly downhill and easy to manage even with small children. Along the Sensory Path, you will find: Farm animals a small primeval forest and many exciting interactive stations for hands-on fun and discovery.

In the Fischbach Children’s Area on the Fischbacherwiese, not far from the ski resort, a lovingly designed snow playground awaits young guests. The area is ideal for first attempts in the snow – whether on skis or a sled.

Family Line

The Family Line in Dorfgastein is a family-friendly slope, ideal for beginners and children.

With a length of 2,600 meters and a gentle gradient, it offers optimal conditions for first turns in the snow.

The route leads from the Brandlalm mountain station via the middle station to the Brandlalm valley station and is particularly suitable for children.

1A Family Descent

The 1A Family Descent is – as the name suggests – top-notch and leads from the Panorama lift mountain station all the way down to the valley.

All on family-friendly paths with plenty of refreshment stops and varied, easy slopes.

No Limits!

Kicker, Slide, Jump, Trick – there are no limits here! The Snowpark Großarl offers perfect conditions for freestylers and snowboarders looking to get airborne.

Junior Weekend Bonus

The Junior Weekend Bonus in Großarltal ensures even more fun on your family ski holiday. On weekends, children and teenagers benefit from attractive discounts on ski passes throughout the Großarltal-Dorfgastein ski area.

The offer makes skiing even more affordable for the whole family and allows everyone to enjoy the slopes together.

Easter Family Promotion

From March 14, 2025, until the end of the season, the Easter Bunny in Ski amadé has prepared a special package for families. Children up to 15 years old (born 2010 and later) ski for free with the purchase of a 6-day ski pass for at least one parent.

Also in the Ski amadé Easter basket: Many attractive events and offers for families in all Ski amadé resorts.
Please note that the Easter family promotion cannot be combined with the online early bird bonus.

Young Family Ticket

This offer is valid for families with a non-skiing toddler under three years old (born 2023 and later). The young family ticket can be used alternately by either parent.

The young family ski ticket for 2 to 18 days is available at the adult ticket office rate on site.

Ski Amadé Mini's Week

Next winter, all five Ski amadé regions will again offer a special week for children. The “Mini’s Week” is designed for families with small children, includes an extensive program from the ski schools, and can be booked between January 10 and 24, 2026.

Family Bonus

When purchasing a ski pass, the third and all younger siblings (child* and youth*) receive a free ski pass if at least one parent and the two older siblings (child* or youth*) purchase a ski pass for the same validity period.

Requirements:

Official family proof and common primary residence required.
For the ALL-IN Card White, it is not necessary for parents to purchase an ALL-IN Card White.
