What is there for Young Children to Experience?

For our youngest guests, we recommend two particularly family-friendly hikes:

Spiegelsee Hike
This leads over the mountain into the Gastein Valley. Along the way, there are numerous playgrounds and rest stops.

Sensory Path Hike
Slightly downhill and easy to manage even with small children. Along the Sensory Path, you will find:

and many exciting interactive stations for hands-on fun and discovery.

What else to Consider when Using Strollers?

You are in alpine terrain – this means:

The paths are mostly uphill or downhill.
Uphill, transporting a stroller requires considerable physical effort, especially with heavy models.
Downhill, gravity pulls the stroller strongly downwards.

We therefore recommend:

Lightweight strollers with brakes
All-terrain models, if possible.
